Web Site Services
Project: Web Site Refresh
Client: COHHIO (Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio)
Strategy: The Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio is an association of hundreds of housing organizations and homeless service providers that support housing assistance services, including homeless prevention, emergency shelters, transitional housing and permanent affordable housing. Headquartered in Columbus, COHHIO provides public policy advocacy, research, technical assistance, training and public education services.
COHHIO approached Wren & Associates to redesign its web site, which had become packed with a lot of information from many different sources. We were asked to (1) organize the information so that users could readily find what they were looking for and (2) set up the site so that COHHIO's staff could maintain it. We categorized the site's information into six sections: Advocacy, About Us, Programs, Information Resources, News & Calendar and Membership & Donations. The client was very pleased with result, saying, "We love the site, and we love what you have done."

Project: New Web Site
Client: R.B. Schwarz, Inc.
Strategy: R.B. Schwarz, Inc., is a general contractor who is known for custom remodeling of gracious homes in the Heights. Since starting his own company in 1987, Schwarz has relied primarily on word-of-mouth and occasional advertising to promote his company's expertise.
Schwarz approached Wren & Associates to develop a web site to promote his firm's services to a wide number of potential clients. We developed five sections in the initial site with the idea of expanding its content at a later date. We featured two homes in the Portfolio section -- one in Cleveland Heights, one in Shaker Heights. The Schwarz team has done considerable work in both of these historical homes, including renovating kitchens, bathrooms and a media room.

Project: Web Site Refresh
Client: Photography by Marc Golub, Inc. (www.photogmarc.com)
Strategy: Cleveland photographer Marc Golub approached us in the summer of 2004 to promote his capabilities as a photographer, a web site developer and a trainer in digital technology. We recommended enhancing his web site, paring it drastically from 25 sections to six (we finally compromised at eight). We revised the home page, wrote a biography and edited and/or rewrote other copy.
The client experienced a 20 percent increase in traffic within two weeks of enhancing his site. In January 2005 he averaged 69 site visits a day, the largest number of site visits since putting up his site.
