Marketing Communications Services
We have written web sites, magazine articles, magazines, annual reports, newsletters and brochures. We have edited research periodicals, textbooks and an award-winning centennial history. For most of these efforts, we have also managed the design, production, printing, photography and mailing, as appropriate.
Project: Voter Engagement Materials
Client: Nonprofit Voter Engagement Network
Situation: Nonprofit Voter Engagement Network - www.nonprofitvote.org - asked Wren & Associates to produce a variety of printed and Web materials to help engage voters in the 2008 election.
Strategy: Over a period of nine months, Wren & Associates developed logos, postcards and many posters; designed Web badges and supplied thousands of campaign buttons and bumper stickers, all to attract the attention of potential voters and encourage their participation in the Nov. 4, 2008 election.

Project: Marketing Materials
Client: Heights Youth Club
Situation: Heights Youth Club, a nonprofit organization providing supervised programs for Heights youth ages 6 to 18, held its Third Annual Summer Solstice Garden Tour on June 21, 2008. The tour featured seven of Cleveland Heights most treasured gardens, from manicured French Formal with statues and fountains to inviting carefree cottage gardens with small ponds.
Strategy: The client wanted to increase attendance and proceeds by at least 50 percent over its 2007 tour. Through redesigning the tour's marketing materials and developing an extensive media relations campaign, Wren & Associates helped Heights Youth Club achieve increases of 60 percent in attendance and 54 percent in proceeds over the previous year.
We developed new marketing materials - a poster, mailer, ticket, patron event invitation/reply card and program booklet - to promote the patron event and the tour. We also helped the client achieve a considerable cost savings by reusing signature clematis photographs from the 2006 tour.

Project: Pocket Folder
Client: Heights Community Congress, Housing Advocates, Inc., and Housing Research & Advocacy Center
Strategy: Three nonprofit organizations that deal with fair-housing issues worked together to access Cuyahoga County funds for collateral materials. We created the folder shown here as well as a poster and a brochure to provide basic information about fair housing and build awareness of housing rights. The organizations wanted minimal copy that focused on housing rights and what constitutes discrimination rather than the programs of the individual nonprofits involved.

Project: Brochure
Client: Housing Research & Advocacy Center
Strategy: The Housing Research & Advocacy Center wanted a brochure that described its three areas of programming -- research, enforcement and education/outreach. The Cleveland fair housing organization requested that the brochure be designed as a three-panel self-mailer. The nonprofit's staff says it is the first brochure they feel comfortable distributing to clients, potential donors and other interested parties.
